Unfortunate that foreign relations have fallen apart so terribly, but at least they can settle down in Equestria for now.

All told though, considering the sheer force of numbers of technology that the combined human world could bring, I dare say that they'd be suited to developing guerilla war strategies too, civil defence, that sort of thing. At least in the event of an invasion force making it passed what conventional capabilities they will be bringing to bear.

For instance most of the Cold War era planes ain't gonna do a damn thing without spare parts and fuel to maintain them, regardless of whether some of the big parts could be fabricated by Equestria or not, electronics are a pain to rebuild. And those pre-Cold War/WW2 aircraft are of zero use in the modern day except as air show pieces or for non-combat purposes.

And firearms will be a must, but again the issue is whether Equestria has the industries to manufacture firearms that are of use in 21st century combat, possible, but having been isolated from the human world for 500 years would leave things a bit stunted. So all in all, guerilla hit-and-run tactics would need to take priority, if they are to have any hope in holding back a serious invasion force.

And I wonder what Mossinger is being brought aside for?
