There was this kid I knew,a young man,who I have know all of his life.My family and his are good friends,Anyway.Oscar had suffered a cerebal hemorrage at was in Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance Ca,in The ICU,after surgery.Anyway.I found out when I got home from work,that Oscar had passed away at 22 years of age.22.My mind is in alot of places right now.

I ask myself why??Why was this kid,a wonderful human being.He had a gret job,that was gonna turn into a great career.And he's taken from us,and his family.Much too soon.

My grandma told me,when someone so young dies,then God needs another angel to watch over us.but that still dosen't keep my heart from breaking.

I guess the worst part is as I said.Oscar was too young to go,but in the end.When God,The Heavanly Father says it's time.then It's time,and we all will learn The Greatest Mystery.

Oscar.Whever you are.Whether you know it or not.You did good.You and you mom and dad,and you siblings will always be in my prayers.

Today.I want to talk about The Modern Day Medicine Show.....I'm talking about Infomercials.You know what I'm talking about.Those 30 minute commercials that disguise themselves as either.A talk show.A news program.Or whatever.And they want to sell you something.Like a Juicer,or a pot that can cook and drain in one move.Or to buy land,and these programs will be hosted by an actor who hasn't worked in over 10 years.Here are some examples.

"Robert Vaughn Discovers"

In the late 80s Actor Robert Vaughn hosted an informercial called,"Robert Vaughn Discovers"It was supposed to look like a news magazine.Robert Vaughn talked about "The Hilsinki Formula"Which is supposed to help with hair loss.And the program ended with Robert Vaughn saying."And as always.We invite you to discover for yourself".

"Crime in America"

Another one from the late 80s.Basiclly it was looking like a discussion group and selling a device called "The Pulse Wave Myotron".Which was a glorified Stun Gun in a what looked like a pearl handle shell.During the program.The host was talking to some guy who was the past president of Colt Firearms,and he said believe it or not.The he didn't believe that a firearm was appropiate for self defense.WOW.What a way to alienate you target demographic.And I hope he got a call or a letter from Paxton Quigley over this.

"The Juiceman"

This one from from the early 90s looked like a talk show.The late Jay Kordich sold The Juiceman ,a juicer that can make any juice with any fruit and vegitables,and even your old smelly socks and even your soiled undershorts.


"The Human Calculator"

Mike Levy hosted a informercial called Amazing Discoveries.And he wore the most awful looking sweaters and his guest was some guy named Scott who could slove complex math problems and could help you too.

Well you get the idea.The modern informercial is what the traveling medicine show was in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Recently many of my fellow bronies and pegasisters have been asking,since MLP-FIM will be ending soon.The question I have been hearing is basicily What will happen to the fandom.While I cant predict the future.I will say this.

With all the fan-fictions.Comics.PMV videos,and the series will most likely go into syndication.I do not believe the fandom is going anywhere.

With websites such as FIM-Fiction and Other fan fiction sites out there.And of course the series is also out on DVD and Blue Ray.And there is also a comic series on the market.

So rest assured dear friends.With all that.I believe,we will be going back to Equestria,for many years to come.

Nuff said.

Today I was in Van-Nuys getting my new trucks 5000 mile oil change at Nissan Van-Nuys.And since I had lotsa time to kill until rush hour was over to go back to Glassell Park.I went to my old job site.Mid-Valley Health Center.I saw one of my old friends Corine who is the clerk supervisio,And as we were talking,I got some bad news.Antoher of my old friends.Security Officer julian Padilla.Whom I served with at Mid-Valley,8 out of the 9 years I was there had passed away late last year.And now my heart has broken yet again.Another friend has left this world and has learned "The Grand Secret"or "The Great Mystery"If you will.

Julian or Jules as I called him was a great Security Officer.As well as a great friend.I can only hope and pray that his family and children and grandchildren are going to be OK.

So in closing I will say this.Jules.I hope you passing was not in pain,and I hope you and Marcia are now patroling the hallways of Heaven.
